Occupational Health and Safety
The Company recognizes the importance of occupational health and safety, as well as the well-being of employees, customers, business partners, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders. Given the potential risks associated with product transportation, warehouse operations, and the use of machinery within warehouses, the Company has established a systematic occupational health and safety management system. This system encompasses the communication of health and safety policies, training sessions, risk identification and assessment, and accident investigation processes to prevent work-related injuries and illnesses. The Company is committed to fostering and improving a safe working environment for all employees, customers, business partners and suppliers. This includes promoting safety awareness and strengthening safe work practices across all business operations.
The Company has assigned the Human Resources and Administration Department to assess potential risk factors and identify safety hazards. The results are regularly reported to the senior management for the implementation of appropriate mitigation measures. Senior management then monitors performance, reports outcomes, and supports the periodic review of the occupational health and safety policy with the Board of Directors, chaired by an independent director, at least once a year.
Health and safety risk assessments are conducted on a regular basis, considering the severity and likelihood of risks across all business operations, including due diligence of the new projects/services. The Company then continues to establish the appropriate control measures accordingly. All accidents and near-miss incidents are investigated to identify root causes, and effective preventive measures are implemented to avoid recurrence
The Company encourage employees, business partners, and relevant stakeholders to actively participate in occupational health and safety management through structured communication, consultation, and engagement mechanisms. These include hazard reporting, suggestions for improvement, and active involvement in safety-related activities, enabling employees at all levels, supplier, and business partners to contribute to the development of a shared safety culture.
In addition, the Company emphasizes continuous training and capacity building in occupational health and safety by providing programs tailored to employees’ job roles, associated risks, and responsibilities. This approach aims to strengthen safety awareness, enhance accident prevention capabilities, and promote safe work practices. The Company also ensures the provision of appropriate and necessary equipment to support employees in performing their duties safely and effectively.
Performance
In 2025, a total of 137 employees participated in workplace safety training through the following training sessions and activities.
•"Workplace Safety" training
• Annual training of "Basic Firefighting and Fire Evacuation Drill"
• Annual fire protection system inspection
• Safety Officer training for Supervisory Level
Safety Officer training for Supervisory Level
This course is intended to develop supervisors’ knowledge and skills regarding workplace safety to effectively manage risks, prevent accidents, and oversee the working environment. The training mainly covers workplace safety laws, risk analysis, accident and fire prevention, and working environment management. In addition, the training also covered approaches to reducing environmental impacts, such as waste reduction, energy conservation, and the efficient use of resources.
Mechanisms for Preventing Work-Related Accidents
In 2025, there were total of 2 injuries cases from accidents within the office. The cause of these accidents was related to the use of work support equipment.
Case 1: An employee used a ladder alone to retrieve documents from the top of a cabinet, causing the employee to fall and sustain injuries to the mouth, right arm, and right leg. An assessment and investigation by the Human Resources department found that the injury resulted from a lack of caution in using the equipment, causing minor injuries and temporary work stoppage. The Company therefore followed up on the symptoms, provided care, and updated the workplace safety guidelines accordingly. The employee was then advised on the proper use of equipment to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Case 2: An employee walked into a storage rack in the warehouse, resulting in minor injury on the right knee. An assessment and investigation by the Human Resources department found that the injury resulted from a lack of caution during work, which leads to temporary work stoppage. The Company followed up, provided care, and reviewed workplace safety guidelines by recommending that the department head inspect the walkway. If the area is narrow or hazardous, a new space arrangement should be proposed. Employees were also advised to remain alert and exercise caution while working, as similar accidents could recur in the future.
In addition, in both accident cases, the employees exercised their right to claim compensation from the Social Security compensation fund.
